Freedom!

We decided to take the Play Zone gate down between the living room and kitchen to give Gage more room to roam. He is loving his new found freedom! This is where he likes to go:

Yes it creates a constant mess of tupperware, kitchen rugs and fridge magnets, but my tupperware cupboard has never been very organized anyway and the rest is an easy fix!

Too cute! Guess what, Henry loves to play by our sliding door too. . .loves pulling on the shades! He isn't quite as mobile as Gage. . .haven't needed a play-zone yet. Looks like a great idea tho! And I know it won't be long. Henry loves to roll and has started to rock on all fours. He has just been so content sitting and playing with toys. . .I don't think he knew what he was missing! :)

Get used to your tupperware everywhere. That was always Natalie's favorite too. Now she pulls it out and uses it at her kitchen so she's still constantly in that cupboard. I get a little tired of it being everywhere all that time, but it does keep them entertained!

I found your blog while searching for information about the playzone, and I'm so glad I did! My son was born on Jan. 12- it looks like maybe he was born a week after your son. He is the light of my life- I enjoy him SO much and I hate leaving him at daycare every day to go to work. It was neat to see what your son is doing- educational too- I haven't tried giving my son scrambled eggs or cheese yet, so I might do that soon- I loved reading about your baby- it sounds like he's the light of your life as well!

Wow - thanks for your comments Windy! (and Sarah & Kristin too! :) It's crazy to think that what I write on my blog can get out there amidst Play Zone reviews! Good luck trying some of those finger foods...just to warn you, I was just reading up on feeding your baby eggs and it looks like it's a controversial subject. Some people say wait until 12 months to avoid allergies, so you might want to look into that. Gage LOVES feeding himself, which makes mealtime a challenge at times! But so cute and fun to watch as he is constantly growing and changing!
